Research for Messaging

Research for Messaging lets an agent collect evidence-backed company or contact context and transform it into qualification decisions or reusable personalized copy. It separates facts that control eligibility from facts that only improve relevance.

Tasks Coldreach can fulfill

  • answer a defined question from company, job, or employee sources
  • retain source evidence and reasoning for review
  • reject accounts that fail required research
  • collect optional product, hiring, customer, positioning, or market context
  • turn research into AI Snippets used inside message variants
  • test research against preview accounts before campaign launch

The input is a specific question, source scope, qualification expectation, and optional instruction about what to highlight. The output is a structured result that can qualify an account and/or feed message generation.

Research depth and scale

Coldreach defines research once and executes it separately for each candidate account or contact. A campaign can run many independent questions across a broad account pool, retain the result and supporting evidence for each entity, and repeat the same policy for new accounts discovered later.

This supports both wide research—evaluating a market against several signals—and deep research—combining company, job, employee, and connected-source context for one account. Because every result remains attached to the relevant account or contact, downstream qualification and messaging can use specific evidence instead of a generic segment summary.

Quality controls

Research questions are testable before launch. Results can include the answer, reasoning, and direct source evidence; Must Have logic excludes accounts that fail required checks, while Nice to Know research remains available for personalization. Reviewers can inspect the result and its evidence at the account or contact level.

Data quality still depends on asking an observable question. An agent should define the time window, match condition, acceptable evidence, and what should happen when no reliable answer is found.

Must Have Filters

Use Must Have Filters for questions whose answer determines whether a company should enter the campaign. A company that fails is excluded from outreach.

Write each question so the pass condition is clear. If either of two facts is acceptable, group them with an OR condition rather than creating two requirements that both must pass.

Examples:

  • Does the company sell to other businesses?
  • Is it currently hiring sales representatives?
  • Does its website show support for multiple locations?

Nice to Know

Use Nice to Know for details that improve personalization but should never disqualify a lead. This is the best home for product launches, hiring priorities, customer examples, positioning, and other message context.

A missing answer should still leave you with a valid lead and a readable message. Do not make the opening line depend on a fragile detail such as a recent social post unless that signal is central to the campaign.

Test the research

Choose the relevant company, job, or employee source, write the question, and optionally tell Coldreach what to highlight. Test it against preview companies before launch. Check that answers are current, useful, and expressed in a way a recipient would recognize.

Use research in messages

Add an AI Snippet to turn research into a reusable piece of message copy. Give the snippet one clear job—such as explaining why the company is relevant—and insert it into the draft. Preview several leads to make sure the surrounding sentence still reads naturally when source information varies.
