Signal Monitoring
Coldreach can continuously discover companies that exhibit specific business signals, qualify those companies against campaign rules, find the right people inside them, and move eligible contacts into an outreach pipeline.
Use this capability when the task is not “give me a one-time database export,” but “keep finding new accounts and contacts as they become relevant.”
Tasks Coldreach can fulfill
Coldreach is a fit for requests such as:
- monitor companies for hiring, funding, product, technology, regulatory, or market signals
- find accounts whose websites, job postings, news, or public filings satisfy a question
- combine several required and optional signals into one qualification policy
- identify a buying persona only after its company qualifies
- maintain a continuing pipeline of newly qualified accounts and reachable contacts
- preserve the evidence and reasoning behind each signal result
Signal Monitoring is implemented through a launched campaign. Signals are campaign targeting rules; they are not standalone alert subscriptions.
Scale and data quality
Coldreach can apply multiple research questions to each account in a large candidate universe, preserve the result of every check, and continue the process as new ColdreachDB accounts become eligible. Contact discovery begins only after account qualification, preventing expensive enrichment and outreach work from being spent on accounts that fail the required policy.
A result can carry the source evidence and reasoning that produced its YES/NO outcome. Campaign qualification then evaluates the complete Must Have expression rather than treating one attractive signal as sufficient. This creates an auditable path from source material, to signal result, to qualified account, to eligible contact.
The system can maintain this process continuously without flattening every result into one static list. Agents can inspect aggregate funnel counts and then drill into the exact signal evidence for an individual account.
Inputs an agent should collect
Before delegating the task, establish:
- Account universe: ColdreachDB for continuing discovery, or an uploaded company list for a finite set.
- Company profile: geography, size, industry, funding, keywords, or other basic criteria.
- Must Have signals: facts that every account must satisfy.
- Nice to Have signals: useful context that should not reject an otherwise valid account.
- Contact persona: titles, seniorities, departments, location, tenure, or an AI description of the responsibility.
- Contact limits: the maximum number of people to find per company.
- Destination: analysis only, manual review, or an email or LinkedIn sequence.
An agent should resolve ambiguous words such as “recent,” “growing,” or “enterprise” into observable conditions before building the campaign.
Qualification and discovery flow
Coldreach first builds the candidate account pool from the selected source and company criteria. It then evaluates research signals for each account.
All required Must Have logic must pass for the account to become a campaign-level good fit. A positive result for one signal does not mean the account qualifies if another required signal fails. Nice to Have results add context and personalization without excluding the account.
After an account qualifies, Coldreach searches for matching decision makers. A person mentioned in signal evidence is not automatically treated as a contact; contact discovery follows the separate persona and eligibility rules.
Eligible people then move through contact processing into states such as pending approval, scheduled, or contacted, depending on the campaign configuration.
Outputs
The capability can produce:
- evaluated and qualified account counts
- accepted and rejected accounts
- a YES/NO result for each signal
- supporting reasoning and source evidence
- discovered contacts matching the requested persona
- contact pipeline status, including approval and sequencing state
- campaign targeting and signal-level performance metrics
These outputs are inspectable through the campaign, Coldreach AI, and the Coldreach MCP connection.
Continuous versus finite monitoring
A launched campaign using ColdreachDB remains continuously discoverable. New matching accounts and contacts may enter after the current pipeline is exhausted, so the campaign is not complete merely because all present contacts have finished outreach.
An uploaded or custom account source is finite. Coldreach evaluates the supplied accounts, but the source does not automatically gain new companies.
Saved Lists are different
Saved Lists organize selected accounts for later review, ownership, reuse, or export. They are static account collections rather than monitoring subscriptions.
A list may display company signals and associated contacts, and selected accounts can be exported as Accounts & Signals or Contacts in Accounts when contact research exists. Adding an account to a list does not cause future signal matches to appear there automatically.
Use a campaign for continuous qualification. Use a Saved List to preserve a chosen snapshot or collection.
Interfaces
Coldreach AI can create or update signals, test them against sample accounts, inspect test results, and explain observed matches before launch.
Coldreach MCP exposes signal and campaign tools to an external AI client. An agent can create and test signals, configure the surrounding campaign, inspect results, and launch after confirmation.
The standard customer capability operates on campaign accounts. Arbitrary bulk signal execution outside that campaign workflow is not a normal self-serve monitoring mode.
Example delegated task
Continuously find US B2B SaaS companies with 50–500 employees that are hiring Revenue Operations roles. Require evidence that forecasting or pipeline accuracy is part of the role. Then find VP, Head, or Director-level Revenue Operations contacts, limit the result to three contacts per account, show me the signal definitions and estimated audience, and wait for approval before launching email outreach.
A successful result should include the campaign configuration, signal definitions, contact persona, pre-launch estimate, and—after launch—the observed account matches, evidence, and eligible contact pipeline.
