Channels

Each Coldreach campaign uses one channel: email or LinkedIn. Channel selection determines the required contact data, sender identity, available actions, capacity, and branching behavior.

Capability matrix

  • Email: verified addresses, selected mailboxes, scheduled multi-step threads, and distributed sending volume.
  • LinkedIn connection requests: optional notes and withdrawal of requests that remain pending.
  • LinkedIn InMail: outreach to non-connections when the sender has the required Premium capability.
  • LinkedIn messages: outreach to existing connections.

An agent should provide the chosen channel, available sender accounts, audience contactability, timing constraints, and whether existing conversations or connections should be skipped.

Email

Email sequences send through the mailboxes selected for the campaign and distribute volume across them during the schedule. Check mailbox availability, signatures, warmup status, and daily capacity before launch.

Email works well when you have verified work addresses and need room to explain a business reason for reaching out. Deliverability checks reduce avoidable bounces, but relevant targeting and restrained volume still matter.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn sequences can use:

  • Connection requests, with an optional note; pending requests can be withdrawn after seven days.
  • InMail for people who are not connected, when the sender has the required Premium capability.
  • Messages for existing connections.

A sequence can branch into If connected and If not connected paths. You can also skip people who already have a conversation with the sender or handle existing connections differently.

Why channels use separate campaigns

Email and LinkedIn have different capacity constraints. Depending on subscriptions and connected mailboxes, an organization may send hundreds or thousands of emails per day, while one LinkedIn account typically supports only a few dozen daily actions.

Coldreach therefore keeps them in separate campaigns. Coordinated email and LinkedIn campaigns can cover the same outbound motion without forcing both channels through one capacity limit, and there is no established performance advantage to combining them in one sequence. Separate campaigns let each channel use its available resources, schedule, measurement, and controls independently.

Before launch, preview every step and confirm the selected sender can perform each action. Then review the campaign lifecycle and choose manual or automatic approval.
