Criteria
Criteria translate a market description into executable account and contact filters. Coldreach can combine structured company attributes with decision-maker constraints before deeper signal research begins.
Inputs and outputs
An agent can provide employee range, geography, industry, founding year, revenue, funding, keywords, titles, seniority, department, function, location, tenure, LinkedIn activity, Premium status, and a contact cap per company.
Coldreach returns a previewable candidate audience and uses the criteria as the first-stage boundary for later signal qualification. Criteria are best for known database attributes; use Signal Monitoring when qualification requires evidence from websites, jobs, news, or filings.
Company criteria
ColdreachDB can narrow companies by:
- employee count and location
- industry and founding year
- revenue, funding, and keywords
Use ranges when the boundary is meaningful. Keywords are useful for business models or capabilities that do not map neatly to an industry label.
Decision-maker criteria
Find people with job titles or an AI description of the role. You can include or exclude seniorities, departments, functions, and locations; limit time in role; require recent LinkedIn activity or Premium status; and cap contacts per company.
At least one title, seniority, or department is required. Add backup title searches when companies use different names for the same responsibility.
Balance precision and coverage
A narrow search produces fewer, more consistent leads. A broad search produces more leads but makes research and messaging work harder. Watch the preview after every meaningful change:
- If the wrong companies appear, fix company criteria first.
- If the right companies contain the wrong people, adjust decision-maker criteria.
- If very few people appear, remove the least important restriction before changing the core audience.
- If one company contributes too many people, lower the contacts-per-company limit.
Criteria answer who might fit. Use Must Have research when fit depends on a fact that requires deeper investigation.
